There are a restuarant and small camper store nearby. Terlingua, 25 miles away, has several small grocery stores. Alpine, 100 miles away, is the nearest town with more amenities. Camp Host US Volunteer
.............................................................................................
Dear Bill,
We currently have an opening for a camp host or couple for our
campgrounds on Mt.
Lemmon near Tucson, AZ (which are at altitude and fairly cool during
the summer).
This position is seasonal, and comes with an RV space plus hourly
wages. The position
is open immediately. The only restriction is that the camp host site
cannot accommodate
an RV much longer than 30 feet.
If interested, please email Larry Silvis at LGSilvis@aol.com. Emails
with a good
description of relevant experience will be considered first. Given the
volume of
responses we received to our last job posting, Larry may not be able to
return everyone's
messages.

Wanted: Camp Host
The city of Storm Lake, Iowa, is looking for a couple to work with us this
summer. It is pretty easy work. It does get busy the three holiday weekends
and fairly busy on regular weekends. We help each other out when it is
busy. Woman does the office work. Man does the outside stuff with very
little lawn work, no electric, plumbing, or repairs to speak of. You do
have to do the restrooms, but they are not hard to clean as most people are
pretty good. Free site with pad, elec and WiFi, plus wages for all hours
worked. Hours do vary some. May ?until just after Labor Day holiday.
Beautiful campground on Storm Lake great walleye fishing. Very friendly
people who stay with us; we have made allot of good friends here. If you
like meeting new people, fishing, biking riding, walking, sitting around
the fire, having a drink this is the place for you. E-mail resumes to
justin@stormlake.org, as he is the city contact person.
Was wondering if you could post this job opening for me.

Interested in Willamette
Attitude is perhaps the most important qualification for being a good
campground host. Other qualifications include an interest in the outdoors
and a like of people, since visitors will be coming to you for advice on
places to go, where to find services, and with problems that might arise in
the campground. Liking people, and wanting to help, not only affects the
pleasure of campground users, but also enjoyment of being a host.

If you are interested in applying for a host position, or are interested in
more information, please contact one of our
offices:http://www.fs.fed.us/r6/willamette/general/offices/index.html
